ELECTRIC NEWS

The Electric will be holding tryouts for the Fall 2008 and Spring 2009 Season on
June 12 and June 13 5:30 PM to 7PM at Field of Dreams 1. You must register before coming to tryouts. The registration link is on the front page of the SYA soccer website.

CONGRATULATIONS HANNAH !!!!!
On Monday March 24,2008 Hannah received the SYA Soccer Travel Character Counts Award for the Fall 2007 Season. Hannah was selected due to her overall effort,attitude, and appreciation she shows towards her teammates and the game of soccer. 

Way to go Hannah!!!!!

ELECTRIC 2
VYS FREEDOM 1

The Electric finished the 2008 season with an impressive 2-1 victory over the VYS Freedom. Ashley was dominant in goal for the Electric. Her diving saves in the second half preserved the victory. Anna's foot came alive today. In the first half she rocketed a shot that unfortunately struck the goal post but she made up for it with a great goal in the second half. Kayla's goal was one of the best this season. She shot the ball just inside the penalty box. The ball went high and over the opposing goalie. Good Job Electric!!!!

SYA Electric Girls U-12 Travel Soccer Team



The Electric is currently in it's sixth  season in existence.
The team is associated with the South Western Youth Soccer
Association (syasocccer.org).The Electic play in the highly
competitive Old Dominion Soccer League.The Electric are
currently composed of 14 girls from the Clifton/Centreville
area of Virginia
